One minute I'm in Atlanta hanging out with my parents - driving around the suburbs. The next, I'm in LA crashing at a friend's place where I meet Ron Paul. He's a 40-something hippy who was ruminating about reincarnation within about 5 minutes of meeting me. Then he sang me a Jackson Browne song while playing the guitar. I ate my Lean Cuisine meal and watched out of respect.
I love random moments like that in life. A few nights later he gave all the girls in the apartment I'm currently residing amazing massages. Mine was about 2 hours long. Incredible. During the massage he would say, "It's all about giving love and receiving love. I'm feeling your love coming at me right now." Meanwhile, I'm like, "Yeah, get the shoulders real good there, Ron Paul. I'm a little tight."
He called me today but didn't leave a message. I gave him my number, but never thought he'd use it. He's about to take off for Europe with his Parisian girlfriend. He didn't leave a message. I think I'll leave it at that.
